First Time Users

The UPMC application process consists of the following steps:

• Browse through jobs or use the 'Search Openings' button to find job postings that meet your specific criteria.
• Click on the 'Apply Now' button to initiate the application process. You can apply a maximum of five (5) jobs per application session.
• Create and complete your personal profile.
• Choose to upload, copy, and paste a current resume (or select an existing resume if one exists on file).
• Complete the application, providing employment history, education, licensures/certifications, and references.
• Click “Submit” to complete the application process.

Advice for the first time users:
The average application process for first-time users takes 30 minutes.

Please prepare the following required information to make your application process go more efficiently:

• biographical information, including your e-mail address
• current resume
• work history (dates/locations/supervisor names)
• education and licensure information
• professional and academic reference information
